Space to just be

Therapy for real people facing real challenges.

An Invitation to Find Steadiness

Often, we carry things quietly — worry, restlessness, or the weight of being enough. At times we long for steadiness, or for life to feel less heavy. Here you can lay some of that down and begin to discover new ways forward.

Common Struggles

At different points in life, we may feel:
...Like worry or anguish is too big to manage
...That our relationships are strained — with a partner, with children, with ourselves
...Overwhelmed by work, transitions, or the ache of past experience
...Unsure how to parent or support a child through emotional pain
...Curious about inner life, and wanting more connection or change
Whatever brings you here, my role is to offer steadiness and care.

What Therapy Looks Like

Therapy is about discovering what feels helpful for you. Sometimes that means practical tools to calm anxiety, sometimes a deeper look at old patterns, sometimes processing painful memories, or reshaping the story you carry about yourself. I draw from CBT/DBT, EMDR, psychodynamic and narrative therapy, but the real work is finding what helps you most, together.

Supporting Young People

As a toddler mom, I understand that every parent wants their child to grow up healthy, confident, and able to handle life’s challenges. Yet anxiety, big emotions, or struggles with the external world can make that path harder. Therapy offers a safe and contained space for children and teens to feel understood, learn ways to cope with the world, and build the resilience they need to thrive.
Alongside individual sessions, I offer parenting support and design therapeutic toys and activities that help children practice skills for growth at home.

What Shapes My Work

Therapy is most effective when the person sitting across from you understands something of your world. My training in counseling gives me the clinical tools, but it is my lived experience that allows me to meet people where they are.Living in different countries and being a 2nd generation immigrant has taught me how complex identity and belonging can feel. Years spent in high-pressure corporate work gave me first-hand knowledge of stress, ambition, and burnout. Parenting a young child reminds me every day how tender and demanding family life can be.These experiences help me listen with empathy, see challenges in context, and walk alongside you with both compassion and practicality.Nan Wang
